I've just read some of his quotes in a magazine and would like to read a couple of books. Can anyone recommend a title or two?

My absolute favourite is the short story 'The Clicking of Cuthbert' in the book of the same name. The Mr Mulliner stories are also very good.

I love all the Psmith books, other favourites are Piccadilly Jim, Hot Water, Quick Service & Sam the Sudden.

Read all. They all make me die laughing. Try the Mr Mulliners.

Well, I feel I ought to comment on this

the ones with me in are best, of course.

Seriously though, I'd recommend an omnibus or collection type edition, the Jeeves collection is just so worth having. I got mine about 20 years ago and I still read them sooo often. They'll probably be a lifelong companion

Am quite jealous that you'll be discovering it all for the first time. Enjoy.

Joy in the Morning is a classic.
Also, the one where Stilton Cheesewright starts his own fascist party - the Blackshorts. A brilliant satire, but so lightly done. Just wish I could remember its name.
I love Plum. I'm off to Le Touquet for my holidays in a few weeks, so I'm going to make a pilgrimage to his house!
Which is the one where the shy lad has to make a speech at a girls' school and gets inadvertantly pissed beforehand? That's a classic. I've read so many, I can't remember which is which!

I love "Leave It To Psmith" though I don't know why it's my favourite, they're all great.

All the Jeeves and Wooster books.
