So damn spooky I had difficulty sleeping and had to lock the book in the garden shed to try to relax cos having it in the house was too scary but then that was worse because I couldn't see it so didn't know if it was coming to get me. Yes it's spooky.

The Greatcoat by Helen Dunmore. Creepy but poignant.
