Are yours all on kindle/equivalent or do you prefer actual books?

I feel like I can keep track of what I have read better when using actual books. I also seem to start a few at the same time more when using Kindle, whereas I like to read start to finish in actual print form.

That being said, I do like the storage thing.

All.

I love real books but find them difficult to read in bed as just fall asleep. I like the light on the kindle and the dictionary. I have an older kindle and am not a fan of the newer iPad type one.

I read real books during the day and enjoy (plus love charity shop buys). I actually prefer big books to be real copies as easier to flick through.

I even sometimes read overdrive library books on my phone if I’m desperate.

Any and all ways in my view - my TBR is obviously enormous

Oh goodreads for keeping track

I like having the dictionary and search facility on kindle, but otherwise I much prefer a real book. I usually have a few books on the go at one time, so at least one will be on kindle and two or three real books. I also listen to audiobooks in the car. I use goodreads too, not the social aspects, just to keep track of what I've read and what I'd like to read.

I think I read probably about equal real books and Kindle and love both for different times. I’ve just checked and for the 11 I’ve read so far this year 5 have been library, 4 Kindle and 2 one’s I owned. I usually have one on the go on the Kindle whatever as I can read in the dark settling kids or waiting out and about etc. Still love a real book but can read faster and a lot more often with a Kindle.

I read both. I like the dictionary facility on the iPad. I tend to download from iBooks if a) I have trouble getting what I want from a book store if it is out of print or b) if the occasional book I want is printed in off putting small, light toned print. Some classics are like this. There are also offers in iBooks, similar to Kindle which have been worth the 99p or so. Other that that I find real books much more restful to read at bedtime. I think it is the screen that keeps me awake! However, the storage is great on the iPad.
