Wow just wow. I just finished this. Hard to read as a mother myself, but brilliantly written with lots of twists and turns.

Has anyone else read it? I'm now thinking I may read another of her books as I like the authors writing style - any recommendations? Or any other suggestions of any good page turner books with lots of twits and turns? 😊

The one Lisa Jewell book I read was indeed full of twits Grin

Ha ha very tired today! 'Twits' 'twists' all the same 😆

She's a fantastic writer especially her later books.

CoteDAzur · 12/10/2017 22:38

She writes chick-lit. "Fantastic writer" might be a slight exaggeration.

I read in a day. Couldn't leave it down.

I preferred her earlier stuff. Wading through I found you.

I don't agree that it's chick lit and I read a wide range of authors.
Also fantastic writer is my opinion.

Opposite to LO, I struggled with 31 Dream Street, which I found a bit fluffy, but think her later books are really good. Enjoyed The Girls, The House We Grew Up In, and The Making Of Us. I haven’t read her last couple yet but they look good.
I wouldn’t call the more recent ones chick lit really. Or maybe they’re chick lit with depth.
It’s very dismissive to say chick lit authors can’t be fantastic writers, Cote.
