Imagine a world where dinosaurs have survived… and evolved. Welcome to the world of Supersaurs! Find out more about the first book in this exciting adventure series, ideal for readers aged 9+.

Bea Kingsley lives in a world where humans live side by side with 'saurs' – a world in which her parents disappeared when she was just a baby.

So when her and her formidable grandmother and her godfather suddenly embark on a trip to the remote islands of Aru to see the elusive Raptors of Paradise, Bea starts asking questions. Was the journey to the islands a dangerous mistake, or the beginning of the adventure of a lifetime?

We ask all winners to share their child's thoughts on the book. Everyone who posts their detailed feedback by midday, Monday 11 December will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Love2shop voucher.

DS aged 11 read this book and he did enjoy it. I was worried it might be a little young for him and that he might not like the lead character being female but he very much enjoyed it. He said the language used stopped it being too young. He enjoyed the illustrations especially as most books for his age group do not have illustrations. He really liked the factfiles about dinosaurs at the end. Both he and myself liked the concept of the book, it was an intriguing idea and sparked his imagination. He liked the format of the book as a hardcover but not too cumbersome. He mostly read it in bed so hadn’t explored the app yet. He did read about it but he enjoys books as a stand-alone thing and isn’t really bothered about interactive features. He says he’d like to read more books in the series. We’ve moved the book onto his 7-year-old brother’s shelf now as he thinks he will enjoy it. Thank you for sending us the book to review.

Thank you for the book. My son aged 9 (just, but very mature) is a little book worm and I have always been proud of his reading ability and the types of books he reads. I applied for this giveaway as I thought he would love the book.

I am sorry to say that he just couldn't get into it. He found it a bit hard going. I tried reading him a few pages thinking that after the first chapter or two he would be hooked and then he would read himself. But he still wasn't interested. I'm really sorry!

I am going to make an effort to read the whole book to him even if he doesn't read it himself as I'm sure that it will be fabulous.

Again - so sorry!

I was so surprised to have won the book as I don't win anything normally. I have kept the book to give to my Grandson for Christmas so I have read the book myself. It is awesome and I recommend more adults read it. I could not put it down once I started. Its easy to read and the illustrations are brilliant and I got totally engrossed with the characters and the different dinosaurs. Bea and Sammy were the main characters and their adventures were amazing. I will certainly buy the next 'Stegosorcerer' book. Please let me know when it is available. I cannot wait for my 12 year old Grandsons opinion as I know he will love it! Well done Jay Jay Burridge!

Many thanks to Mumsnet / Piccadilly Press for a copy of this book. Our young reader had the following to say -->

"Overall, it is a good book. It has a really exciting cover - it makes you want to read on. The drawings inside are also not bad, but may have been in colour like the cover as the shading/computer colour blends made the art look too greyish, a bit like rubbed down dirt. The story idea is excellent - it's interesting having dinosaurs exist in the modern day world (or near-modern day world as this is set in 1932). But we have seen this idea before in Jurassic Park / Jurassic World, so it is not original. The story itself had a slow beginning, but the action picked up as the story went on. It is a long book, but people who like reading a lot and are interested in dinosaurs and adventure stories will enjoy the book!"

Great book. Surprisingly believable story, well written and superb illustrations. I think it will be a big hit!

unfortunately my son didn't finish the book, he tried a couple of times but it didn't grab his attention and he felt it was just too slow/detailed to interest him

Thanks so much for our copy of this book. I'm sorry it's taken so long to get feedback written but that's actually the main part of my feedback. My DD (10) is an absolute bookworm. Devours them! So I thought she'd love this but she has tried and tried to get into it but just can't. She knew I was going to give her feedback so made the effort to plough on with it but she's just not getting into it.
She has said she finds that "it takes pages describe something that could be much better described quicker". I do wonder how much she was put off by the cover as she thought it looked like "a book for books or people who love dinosaurs" rather than an adventure story. She's not a particularly girly girl either and reads across the spectrum.
Sorry, this one just wasn't for her. It's still not finished. But I'm hanging on to it for her younger sister I think she'll enjoy it more.

Thanks again for the opportunity to review.
