99p on kindle today. Not read it yet, just picked it up. Just in case someone else is looking for a bargain. :-)

How strange! I decided to buy a couple of actual paperbacks today for the beach and that's one of them. Looking forward to it.

I enjoyed this book so much when I read it that this post has prompted me to read again even though I know the ending

Sorry, but read it a few weeks ago, and found it unbelievably awful. I know you expect some unlikely bits in a thriller, but this was just ridiculous.

I didn't like it.

I agree Clawdy, it was recommended to me so I finished it, but I really hated it. It didn't live up to the premise at all.

Is this recent? I bought it today but I'm almost convinced I've already read it.

On the other hand, I've just finished The Girlfriend and I enjoyed that one.

I've just bought a new authors first book to try: Anything is Possible by Rob Osbourne on Amazon. Early reviews seems to say it's good - hoping to start it this weekend

Sorry, I'm another one who really didn't like this. I didn't find it particularly engrossing and thought it fairly predictable.

Margot back up read sounds like a good plan.

I've just read it and must have thought it was ok as read it in a few days! Some bits are a bit far fetched but perfect thriller bubblegum for the beach. Currently reading a book called The Trap and finding that hard work. Also recommend The Dry which is just out in paperback for a slightly different who did it.

Perfectly enjoyable beachside reading.

I've read it! Lightweight whodunnit with two-dimensional characters, somewhat far fetched but perfectly acceptable for poolside reading and satisfactorily ties up all the loose ends, I will say that for it

I bought it for 99p and just finished it.

Have to admit it was a page-turner, but fairly awful. Disliked the use of mental health issues. However, it would be a decent enough sun lounger book - it was certainly an easy read.

I'd give it 3/5 stars. Characters weren't very well developed - or likeable.

I also felt the author was trying to put in twists whenever she could.

But as a beach read it was ok.

Well I've jus finished this and it was surprisingly satisfying, though completely unbelievable! Very pacy, I read in a couple of days. Just what I want from a trashy psycho thriller really.

I'm actually going to miss it.

Wouldn't read it again though, dear me!
