I've got The Power, The Dark Circle and Do Not Say We Have Nothing waiting to be read at home. It's just getting round to reading them that's proving difficult!

Oh yes please! Have been set a challenge by a fellow bookie friend to read only female authors for the rest of 2017 so just came in here to see if you would help me compile a list! This is a great start!
Have recently finished 'Do Not Say We Have Nothing' - absolutely loved it. Missed it when I finished and wanted to chat about it. It's pretty intense but breathtakingly beautiful in places.
Will finish my current book and have just ordered 'The Power'.

I'm in! I read Do Not Say We Have Nothing a few months ago and finished The Power last week, I thought these were both excellent.
I have The Sport of Kings out from the library at the moment as I really liked the sound of it, I haven't begun yet: I'm a bit daunted by it because it's a huge doorstop of a book!

Finished The Power. What a thought provoking book. Was racing through it near the end. I enjoyed the pictures and emails.

I ended up returning The Sport of Kings unread, there was no way I was getting round to it any time soon :(
I've read The Dark Circle though, and thought it gave a really interesting insight into the treatment of TB in a world prior to the widespread use of antibiotics, and the bonds between siblings and friends having to endure their time in the sanatorium.
