Poirot fan? We gave away copies of his latest mystery, as told by Sophie Hannah. Find out more about Closed Casket and the author who has taken on this curly-moustached murder-solving maestro.

When Poirot receives an invite to a mansion party in Clonakilty, County Cork, hosted by Lady Athelinda Playford, he's not quite sure why. As the party begins, Lady Playford is making an urgent change to her will, to exclude her two children. Poirot starts to suspect his host of provoking a murderer, but when they do strike, the victim is not who he expects it to be. Will he be able to find the culprit and solve the mystery?

This is bestselling crime writer Sophie Hannah's second novel featuring the brilliant Belgian detective. Closed Casket in fact marks the centenary of Poirot's first outing in Agatha Christie's The Mysterious Affair at Styles.

We ask all winners to share their thoughts about the book on this discussion thread. Everyone who gives detailed feedback on Closed Casket by midday, Wednesday 19 July will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Love2shop voucher:

I enjoyed reading this book - it was not the same as the 'normal' Poirot but then why should it be ? It is not the same author. This book is effectively borrowing a character from another author, the writing and the storyline does not follow the same flow as the Poitot books we know and love.
Would I read more of her books ? Yes I would.

I loved this book!!
I couldn't put it down!!!
I'm a huge Agatha Christie fan, however, this book was so well written, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The characters had a great clarity and depth and the setting worked brilliantly. As with all Poirot's, you think you know the answer...........
Brilliant book, totally recommend this for your holiday break

Apologies forgot to show some excitement at first receiving the book.

Yes I was fascinated at first at someone else writing a Poirot book and did picture David Suchet when reading it. I enjoyed reading this and look forward to another by author...heard The Monogram Murders (Hercule Poirot Mystery 1) is another one

First of all, I would like to thank Harper Collins for my free copy of Closed Casket by Sophie Hannah .(it is so easy to forget to say thank you!)
I was delighted and surprised when I saw I will be receiving the new Hercule Poirot Mystery: Closed Casket by Sophie Hannah. Agatha Christie has always been my favourite author since I was a young girl. It must be a difficult task to try to step into Agatha Christie's shoes and bring to life the famous Belgian detective. I was pleasantly surprised and I furtherly enjoyed this book. Sophie Hannah has captured the essence of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot very well. I was so impressed that I have bought her previous book: The Monogram Murders.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone and especially to Agatha Christie's fans. Great book and great read!
