Love to snuggle up in bed with a mug of hot chocolate and a good cookery book to read.

I know quite sad.

What cookery books can anyone recommend as a good and informative read?

triplets I really agree about the French cookery book. I bought it on a whim and tbh thought it would be just another spin off. However, the recipes really do work and they are so simple.

River Café Easy and River Café Easy Two - love them.

would echo those who love Annie Bell - both Living and EAting and In My Kitchen are very dogeared in my house!

Also like Darina Allen's Ballymaloe Cookery course which has recipes for EVERYTHING in it.

Bill Granger and Donna Hay - both Aussies for nice relaxed "hot weather" cooking!

And last but not least I have a great one called The Cinnamon Club cookbook which is Indian but with a dinner party twist - really fab.
