If I really love Ruth Rendell and Agatha Christie, what else would I enjoy?

Just that really. I like both the Wexford books and the psychological thrillers like the Keys on the Street. Really struggling to find something. I don't like anything too gory though.

Also try some of the British library crime classics series. I've just finished the santa klaus murder and really enjoyed it.

The Shardlake Chronicles are wonderful. Also highly recommend Elizabeth Peters' Amelia Peabody series.
