I just finished Death's End. Anyone up to discussing it?

I don't know re no-story world. It could also be that they were all plastered flat in a 2D world & were lifeless (so had no "stories" going on).

I've been wondering about the spinning umbrella (see below). I'm wondering if the author intentionally left some clues unexplained. After all, they weren't all figured out. If they had, they would presumably had avoided the collapse into 2D.
