Anyone part of this - reading any of the titles featured on the programme/website?

Are you enjoying it, Noddyholder?

I am loving it it is a truly brilliant story and has messages about life on so many levels.I sdaid I wouldn't be put off by a r&j sticker because a good book is a good book It wouldn't make me necessarily pick one up either.

janeite · 11/02/2007 16:43

Thanks Noddy, just been and bought it. That one and the one with the doughnuts on - have forgotten what it's called at the mo.

janeite · 15/02/2007 12:45

Have you finished it Noddy? I read it vey quickly - thought it began really well but ultimately I was quite disappointed with it I'm afraid. Won't say any more in case anybody is still reading/going to read.

Sixofone · 03/07/2007 13:26

Don't know if anyone is doing this but the book people are selling all 8 R&J books for £9.99 at the moment (mine have just arrived, our book club is starting with This Book Will Save Your Life )

zubb · 03/07/2007 13:29

This book will save your life was good - hope you enjoy it Sixofone.
I think Half of a Yellow Sun was on their list as wekk and I thought that was a great book - not at all sentimental. I read the girls and the Island for a book club and didn't like either of them though.

Savage Garden and Salmon Fishing in Yemen are both very good, I read them pre R&J.
