I've only just discovered these threads - sad person that I am. Now I'm getting a little sleep at night, I'm rediscovering reading.
I picked this book up and put it down twice before finally buying it and I'm so glad I did. It was just fabulous.... I loved it.

I loved this book. But it didn't move me to tears. It will be one of those ones that will stick in my head though. I read memoirs of a geisha too recently and liked it but preferred the style of ttw.
