Travel/relocation type books

I have read most of Bill Bryson, recently read The Corfu Trilogy (which I loved). Anything else along this vein, which is nicely written?

I really liked Peter Moore's books. It's best to read them in order:

The Wrong Way Home - he goes from London to Sydney without flying.

The Full Montezuma - he travels to Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica and other places.

Swahili For The Broken Hearted - he goes from Cape Town to Cairo by any means possible.

Vroom With A View - he travels through Italy on a Vespa and in its sequel, Vroom By The Sea, he does a final tour.

I love reading Dervla Murphy, although they don't seem to be in print at the moment and they are not easy to find in charity shops. The accounts of the trips she takes with her young daughter in tow are fascinating to read (shoestring to coorg, eight feet in the Andes and one where they spend the winter in the mountains of baltistan (can't remember the title off hand)).
There is also one where she cycles from Ireland to India travelling through places like Afghanistan in the 60's that is a really interesting read.

Another favourite of mine is "hideous kinky" by Esther Freud. It's not nonfiction but I think its based on the authors experiences as a child.
It's told from the viewpoint of a young girl who travels with her hippy mum and sister to morocco and they spend a couple of years living there.

Another vote for Dervla Murphy - you can pick up second hand copies on Amazon.

Annie Hawes - the first couple of books set in Italy are lovely.

Driving over Lemons for a funny, light read. Also "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed is more about a journey than a relocation, but it was very good.

"Tracks" by Robyn Davidson is a good journey book too. The author walks across Australia with a couple of camels and a dog, it was made into a good film too.
