Anyone ever read a book that they felt was written just for them?

I've just read My Name Is Lucy Barton, by Elizabeth Strout.

Not only did I love it, I really felt like it was written for me. It made CS Lewis' famous "We read to know we're not alone" ring very, very true.

Anyone else had a similar experience? Like the writer touched you on the shoulder and said, "It's not just you?"

Lisa Jewell's The House We Grew Up In. I grew up in a horrible dirty house and her descriptions made me realise that I wasn't the only person to do so. Also the way the adult children had reacted to their childhood in different ways rang true to me.
