Teen mystery/detective stories

I have a teen boy who has read all the cherub series, maze runner, hunger games and young bond stories.
He's flipping voracious! He has the use of a kindle this holiday. What can I suggest he downloads? He's struggling to browse on Amazon.
TIA

Has he tried the Young Sherlock series by Andrew Lane?

Miss Peregrine's?

I'd go back to basics with Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes.

He wants to read the Hound of the Baskervilles. I have loads of Agatha Christie novels!

DS who is 13 and has also read all the ones you mention has just devoured the Bodyguard series. Can't remember who by...

He also enjoyed Agatha Christie's short stories (but not the novels - found them a bit slow to get going!). Loved a new series based on Wizard of Oz - Dorothy Must Die and so on.

Thanks. Will have a search of the Bodyguard series.

Slated trilogy by Teri Terry.
Henderson's boys by Muchamore

Has he read Alex Rider? They're slightly more spy themed though.

I'm about to let my dd loose on my Ruth Rendells.

Anthony Horowitz's Sherlock Holmes books?
Maybe try a couple of Doyle short stories, before 'Hound'. It's good but the language might take a bit of getting used to.
Raymond Chandler?

Has he read 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime'?

Oh and 'The Cuckoo's Calling' by Robert Galbraith//JK Rowling might be worth a shot too.

Anne Cassidy is fantastic for teens, the looking for JJ series in particular. They ask challenging questions, what is good or evil, really? And they are fantastic stories.

DS1 (14) loved all of those and has now moved to Lee Child's Jack Rider books. They are a bit violent but no more than the Cherub ones.

Kathy Reichs Virals series. Mysteries with minor violence and only occasional hints of relationship.
