I have an email prepared to send out with the up to date posting list, but I am just waiting to hear from Dewmeadow & MarsLady.
Please send them here if you find them anywhere.

Ok, I won't send another book, will just sit tight and hope I get something from peachy - or whoever she is atm! (Have I missed something...?)

ok then, girls, just remember to pop a book in the post by monday, then ther will be no more tears (in a lame joyce grenville imitation)

right then, sit up straight, and using your best handwriting, address the envelope to your reciient. Now just put the book inside, seal it, and leave it in a convenient location to take to the post office next time you go out.
(said in calm, effecient voice that kaa uses when teaching)

I've been posting onto to Peachy and haven't heard anything to the contrary.

Can I be really nosey and ask at the end of this swap if people would find fessing which book they originally chose to send on and why. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting different books each motnh and paricularly loved finding some new favourites...anybody else?

Not that I have any right......... [cough] .... but I haven't had a book in ages and ages. But I'm happy not to receive any more because I don't think that poor kipper could cope with the waiting any longer and also I'm too busy. Can barely ready my study books never mind book swap books.

Can't remember what book it was was something I had read and enjoyed but wasn't a favourite and wasn't bothered if it didn't arrive back

My original book was a Barbara Trapido - Noahs Ark (?). I love all of her books, long before chick lit fiction became a familiar genre, I supose it's a bit like a 'grown up' Chick lit!

this is a swap club tha't been going for about 11 months & is hopefully nearing the end (hence the thread title). it has become something of a joke with numerous people opting in & out & possible ending in the very near future - if we ever dare to do it again, we'll let people know! for now, it is reaching it's end (i think!)

wow! I thought it would take bumbleweed longer to read 2 books! They are from the book swap nikkie - not sure if stalking fiona is an original but the maragaret atwood was a filler sent to me by mars (i already own it and love it so passed it on straight away.) I'm away from home at the mo but will send bumbleweed the other 2 which mars put in when i get back.
