You love your family. They make you feel safe. You trust them. Or do you…? When fifteen-year-old Billy Wilkinson goes missing in the middle of the night, his mother, Claire, blames herself. Claire is sure of two things – that Billy is still alive, and that her friends and family had nothing to do with his disappearance. A mother's instinct is never wrong. Or is it?

This month we’d like to introduce you to your new favourite psychological thriller author: CL Taylor. From the bestselling author of The Accident and The Lie, comes a highly anticipated new psychological thriller, The Missing. To find out more about Taylor you can read her Q&A.

Many thanks for my copy of The Missing. This is the first time I have read a book by this author but will now certainly be on the lookout for more. Mystery and secrecy abounded throughout the book and there were so many twists and turns it was impossible to know who was innocent and who was guilty as an accusing finger was pointed at each character in turn. When the final grand unveiling eventually came, the ending was not what I was expecting at all. I enjoyed every page. Highly recommended.
