Thank you for my copy. A very positive read with lots of tips and quotes to boost the spirit and energy. I really enjoyed reading it. I have tried to put in place some of the exercises. It is full of practical ideas on how to live a calmer life. An ideal gift suitable for any age.

Thank you for the book. The first thing I noticed about the book was how nice it felt as it is very tactile, although a lot of people assumed that it was a notebook hitch considering the amount of activity pages to complete is not an unfair assumption.

The book is not designed to be read in a linear fashion but to be dipped in and out of as necessary. There are a wide range of activities recommended to improve and create a daily habit of calm which means that there is bound to be something to suit everyone. There is a meditation app which complements the book which I also downloaded to help guide my meditation as I was new to it and my mind has a habit of wandering if left to its own devices.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in mindfulness or just looking for a little moment of calm, a not uncommon request when surrounded by screaming babies and toddlers seeing how much of a mess they can make.

Someone bought this for me as a birthday gift and I've enjoyed dipping in and out of it. As others have said, the cover is lovely and tactile.

It's a great book to have on the coffee table to snatch moments of calming wisdom in the middle of a hectic day!

Thanks so much for my copy of Calm, I've really enjoyed reading it. It is such an aesthetically pleasing book - a real pleasure to look at.
As a person who has attempted meditation in the past, and failed miserably, Calm provided me with a refreshing and different perspective to achieving mindfulness.
The book is very easy to pick up and leaf through - it isn't designed to read from start to finish in one go. I liked this way of using the book, because opening a page at random meant I might come across a thought, an exercise or even a picture that provided me with food for thought or an interesting nugget of information that helped me look at things a little bit differently.
I also loved the interactive nature of the book, with some pages dedicated to writing, drawing and creating. The App also provides another way of learning the lessons, for those who want to use tech to achieve it.
If you're interested in mindfulness and seeking some tips to help relax a 'chatty' mind, Calm is a gorgeous way to help you do so.

Thank you for this lovely book. It's so nice to pick up and read a few pages. Makes you look at things a bit differently. I like the zen like feeling it instills. It's a beautiful book and one I love keeping out. Not one to be put away on the bookshelf and forgotten about quickly. The short activities are great. Perfect for a busy lifestyle.

These types of books are usually right up my street but I was left somewhat disappointed by this book.

There is no doubt that the book itself is visually stunning and it is the first time I've come across a book like it. Its full of inspirational quotes and stunning imagery. I even love the way the book feels when I'm holding it (not weird right??)

But, I found this book didn't give me anything new, it didn't inspire me to think differently and didn't teach me anything I didn't already know.

It's very beautifully illustrated common sense.

What I also struggled with at times with this book is that it felt like an advert for the app. I guess to some extent that is what it is but it felt a bit duped by it as rather than feeling the author was writing for the love of helping others (which I no doubt that he was) I felt I was being sold something

But...What I did love about this book was that it encourages you to write for yourself! Dotted through the book are journal pages which encourage you to stop an think about your day and what you are grateful for; I thought that was a really nice touch.

The best bit of the book is the surprise activity at the end I really thought that was a novel idea and a great one to! I won't spoil it for you but just watch out for the dots on each page as you read.
