received the book on Saturday gave it too the kids who really loved it there 5 and 8 at first I was thinking it looked a little old for a 5 year old to use but how wrong could I be many hours have been spent by them both colouring in the pages they just love it ,they like the detail of the drawings and the fact one can find hidden things within it, The books well designed and the pages are made from good quality paper, the kids and be really heavy handed with it and the pages don't rip or tire when pressure is applied to the paper with pens or crayons

Received our colouring book. My little one never heard of Wally but seemed very eager to go through it and started colouring in straight away. Perfect, hours of fun and timing could not be better, it gives her some extra fun during half term.

Our copy arrived last week, and was a nice surprise to return from holiday to find. My son says it looks tricky, but as he is always pinching my colouring books I know he will really enjoy it. I love the fact you still have all the hidden elements. Perfect way to chill before we start the back to school plans!

I received the Where's Wally Colouring Book via Mumsnet and think it is a great idea for a detail orientated kid who would not only enjoy seeking out Wally, but colouring the book in meticulous detail. Once you manage to complete the book, t really is something of an achievement and something you would wish to keep. It is good to keep on you to keep kids entertained in restaurants, long train journeys etc.

My DD aged 11 says this is a brilliant book which is even better than the normal 'Where's Wally?' books because not only do you have to find Wally, you can also colour in the pictures. She would recommend this book to anyone aged 8+.
(Both DDs, aged 11 and 13, jumped on this book straightaway and can't wait to finish it. They love art and this is a great way to keep them occupied and off their phones... Smile Fantastic detail on every page - these are the real deal compared to trendy 'mindfulness' colouring books)

This book is fun on so many levels. Great for a colouring in book but lots to see and look for too. I am enjoying it just as much as my son. The Where's Wally colouring book is great for any age!

We love this book, my 3 year old son and I spend ages searching for Wally then colouring him in. Perfect together time activity for a rainy day. Thank you for our free copy.

Just wanted to update to say what sort of sorcery is this Wink

Quiet, concentration, sharing, agreeing...and all four of those things at the same time! Shock

If the book publishers have any other tricks up their sleeves then I want to know them Wink

This book kept my Grandsons aged 6 and 9 engrossed for hours. Thank you very much.

I saved the book to take on holiday with the kids, hence the late posting. It was a great book. Thanks so much mumsnet. Firstly I was impressed by the quality of the product, which made it great for travelling with. Some colouring books are so flimsy by the first few pages of colouring you end up ruining the rest of book - although it maybe that my kids are a bit over zealous with a pack of pencil crayons. My kids also loved looking for wally, so it was double the fun. All the pictures were fun, and I think you could keep looking at them for hours. My kids are all quite small, so some of the pictures were quite difficult to colour, but my little boy loved odlaws fierce friends as it was slightly bigger. Thanks again for picking me.

thesoupdragon44 · 19/04/2016 15:05

we have loved colouring in together and finding wally at the same time. What a great way to update the where's wally books. Still as much fun. I like that not all the pages were black and white and you would think things were easier to find while colouring them, but that is not the case. Still hunting, and thanks for this great book.

Thanks for the book. Love the fact the front cover is quite sturdy. A hit for grownups and children alike.

My son is over the moon with this book, as am I! The book is presented in a lovely cover and is of very good quality.

As my son is only 4yo, I spent a little time showing him where to find Wally on the first page and I also got carried away colouring in, to which my son stated; "It's my turn now, Mummy!!" ha ha.

Once my son started, he shouted me every 5 mins saying; "Mummy, I've found Wally - yeahhhhhh!".

So in summary, both my son and I are huge fans so thank you for gifting us with this fab book! Smile

My nephew loved this - he loves anything with Wally so I bought him a copy when I looked after him in half term in it kept him amused for hours!

gingercat12 · 02/05/2016 20:44

My DS (8) was quite poorly, so I gave him this wonderful book as a present. He was delighted.
He likes that Wally and his friends are parts of different stories. He loves being creative and colouring all the scenes. Ever since Friday, he has not parted with his lovely book.

Thank you for this wonderful gift. It relay cheered my DS up.
