What an excellent book! Just that really.

If anyone is looking for a recommendation for a brilliant thriller I heartily recommend this book. It's taken me less than a week to finish it and DH says he can't remember the last time I did that with a book. Excellent debut novel!

I thought Girl on the Train was ok. Gone Girl just felt very rushed at the end and it felt like a book that had been written just for the film rights.

I loved Gone Girl to start with but the end pissed me off, I read one of her other ones which was much better though. I'd been dying to read Girl on the Train for ages and got it for Christmas, I read it all in an afternoon and hated it. It was so boring and the main character seemed so pathetic!

I've just read all three of the Kim Stone books by Angela Marsons and they were fantastic, can't wait for her next one to come out.

Just finished The Luckiest Girl in the World and it reminded me of this thread so I thought I'd add it! It's a bit choppy to begin with but I quite liked it by the end.

I meant The Luckiest Girl Alive!

I didn't like the characters of gone girl or the girl on a train. Glad I read it but I just didn't like them which never usually happens.

I liked Girl on the Train. I read it in one evening. I didn't find I cared particularly for any of the characters, so wouldn't say I loved it, but it was a good read.

I've only seen the film version of Gone Girl, but the ending of the film drove me and DH mad. Is the book the same?

Just started this, read the first Rachel bit. I like it so far

Just finished GOTT - massively over hyped and all the characters interchangeable. Feel disappointed that I was taken in.

I was really disappointed in The Girl on the train. Finished it at the weekend and thought " Oh. Right. " Not as good as I thought it was going to be after all the hype.
Same with Gone girl. Got on my nerves after a while!
I let you go is fab, as is Into the Darkest Corner.
