Done Proust. Done Nelson Mandela autobiography etc.

One Hundred Years of Solitude. God. Boring in the extreme. I tried. I really tried to read that book. A number of times. So many people told me it was brilliant, thoughtful, meaningful etc, etc. Bullshit! It's a parcel of shite . And every time I lost or accidently damaged the copy so forcefully lent to me I ignored the blatantly obvious ways of the universe trying to do me a favour.
