I'll be leaving a full review on the book review page, but wanted to say thanks for choosing me to receive a copy. I really enjoyed reading this book, never read any of Lucy Diamond's books before but it was easy to get into, written well and the style of writing (from several character's POV) was certainly different.

Love this book. It is a real page turner and I really care about the characters in the story. One thing I do find difficult is to remember all the names and family units. A page in the front listing the names and family units might help! Or is it just me getting old!! When the author is relating the children's stories she cleverly sounds child like.

I was chosen by MNHQ to review this book and was given a copy for free. The review is in my own words and reflects my true opinion.

I am already a fan of Lucy Diamond so was thrilled to be given a chance to review her new book. The writing draws the reader in immediately and I found it hard to put down. It was an easy, relaxing summer read and one I would recommend.

Thank you for Summer at Shell Cottage. I have never read a Lucy Diamond book before. I found this a light summer read and enjoyable if not a little unrealistic at times. I would recommend reading this book.

This was a light easy read which I enjoyed over the summer holidays. Since reading it, I have read another of Lucy Diamond's books, "One Night in Italy", another light read for the summer, and which I enjoyed too!

The characters were believable, described brilliantly by the author and really drew me in. This is an easy to read page turner which will leave you wanting more. I couldn't put it down!

Hello,
I just want to apologise for the delay in posting here. I had a big list of books to read this summer but have finally read Summer at Shell Cottage. Thanks so much, it was up my street after several hard-hitting books, this was an enjoyable and light read set in my favourite county.
I felt the characters were believable and the pace of the novel kept my attention. I've passed it on to my mum to read to now so we can compare notes. Thanks again!

I was selected as a winner, but my book never arrived. However I am a fan of the author so I got the book for my Kindle. I got into this book really quickly and was hooked. A perfect summer beach read. Uncovering the families secrets and how they deal with all the issues. It kept me entertained until the end.
