Thread four of the 50 Book Challenge for this year.

The challenge is to read fifty books (or more!) in 2015, though reading fifty isn't mandatory. It's still not too late to join, any type of book can count, and please try to let us all know your thoughts on what you've read.

I, too, fancy a re-read of that Muriel Sparks book - there's so much going on under the surface and I don't think I got everything the first time round. The Maggie Smith film is also great.

Yes, I think I will add 'Miss Brodie' my list too. I am always telling DC's that 'I am in my prime' in my best Geraldine McEwan voice.

Feeling a bit sad at the moment so reading Bill Bryson's Down Under. Never fails to cheer me up.

You okay, Best? Bill Bryson always a good idea, and, 'Down Under' is such fun (apart from the spiders).

Oh Best how awful . I'm so sorry. I cried for days when we lost our Ddog. They are so much a part of the family that when they die it's devastating. Unmumsnetty hug from me.

Talking about Bill Bryson, we'll be seeing a lot about him in the media over the next two months as the film of A Walk in the Woods is out soon and the follow-up to Notes from a Small Island is out next month. I've never read any of his books so will start with 'Small Island' first.
