Holiday reading recommendations

Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations of what to read on holiday.
I'm a pretty fast reader so ideally 3 or 4, maybe a series or a trilogy?
I like dystopia/sci fi at the minute, but love literary fiction and historical fiction. Ive just finished the madaddam trilogy and loved it, would ideally have not read that. I've read Atwoods other novels so they are out.
I don't want something too techy as it's holiday reading but I don't want chick lit/fluff.

Can anyone recommend anything? I have a kindle so amazon would be helpful although our library has a massive ebook download section so I should be okay if not.

TIA

Have you ever read Gerard Woodward "August"? First book in a trilogy. Literary fiction about a disfunctional family full of great characters. Starts with a holiday in Wales and then moves to their chaotic home in London. I loved them.

Ken Follett's Century trilogy if you like historical fiction. First one - Fall of Giants - is set during WW1, second (Winter of the World) in WW2 and final one (Edge of Eternity) is the later decades of 20th century. I'm only a little bit into the third one but the first two are brilliant. Following a number of central characters from UK, US, Germany and Russia through the wars. I highly recommend!

Haven't read either of those so will give them a try.
Has anyone read the running man? Not a massive fan of king but the description sounds good!

The Running Man wasn't my favourite of King's but if you are buying it on Kindle you can get the set of four Bachman books which includes the Running Man. The Long Walk is part of that set of four and is very good. It might give you more choice if you're not keen on one of the books, to look at the other three.

Have you read the Wool trilogy by Hugh Howey? Wool, Shift and Dust. I enjoyed them very much. They are about a community living underground in a massive silo. If someone breaks the law they are sent up outside to 'clean' which basically means they go out to die.
