I've just read his latest, 'Time and Time Again' and though it was excellent. I've actually read a lot of his books and have enjoyed them all. He always seems to have his finger on the pulse of the 'Zeitgeist', with topics such as. IVF, traffic, reality TV, the internet etc and often encapsulates things I've thought but articulates them very well. Ok he's no Dostoyevsky but I do think he's very underrated as a modern author.

Ok, that's my say, wondered what other people thought of his work...

I read Gridlock years and years ago and it's always stayed with me how much I liked it. Also read Dead Famous a while back, not so impressed (and struggling a bit to recall the story). I would read another though if one comes my way.

Growing sense of maturity, I would say. I read 2 Brothers, set in Berlin, which was a fascinating take but some fundamental errors which were silly (like who had olive oil to take on a picnic in WW2?). www.tripfiction.com/books/two-brothers/

I love his books very, very much. In fact, it's probably time I read another one. Dead Famous was hilarious, Gridlock was great, The Other Eden and Blind Faith stayed with me long after I'd finished them.

I have read quite a few of his books over the years and enjoyed them all; my personal favourite being Chart Throb.

I recently read Blind Faith which is a bit of a modern take on 1984 and I HATED it! I found it excruciating to read, I hated the characters and the way they talked and was repulsed by the world they lived in. I know it is a dystopian story so is meant to feel that way in a sense but I have never been so glad to finish a book!

I love 'Popcorn' and 'Blast from the Past'. Love his writing style.

I think he's great - one of the few authors whose new books I'll always buy. The last one was especially good I thought
