I thought I was being all smart to have found a book named after malory, it wasn't until I'd started the read and saw it was by Enid Blyton that I realsied it possibly wasn't someone writting about our malory.
I clicked on the link I'd made tp check it worked and saw it was by EB and "Oh dear...I'm going to be laughed at here"

Ooooh the first thread i've been mentioned on.
PS I'm not malorytowers, i did try that as a username when i started out last year but had to abandon it when found out there was an original

DarrellSHivers · 15/10/2006 21:09

still can't belive you never read any malory towers

MadamePlatypus · 15/10/2006 21:11

Has anybody ever met anybody in real life called Darrell? Do you think it is pronounced like Darren or more like Darth Vader - Daar-ell?

DarrellSHivers · 15/10/2006 21:13

no never, always imagined it pronounced as it's written really

Sophiev73 · 15/10/2006 21:14

I went to school with a Darrell who was a boy. Was reading said books at the time, so got jolly confused...

rustycreakingdoorbear · 15/10/2006 21:25

I've known two Darrells, both boys, both pronounced like Darren, but one was spelt Daryl.
