woudl love a collection of trad fairy tales

fro ds3. he got a quite detailled one from pre school of Jck and the Beanstalk with really great pics btut hey dont publisish it any more. any ideas?
am loking for more lavish illustrations adn text than he ladybird ones?

We had this from the library which dd (5) loved. The only odd bit was at the end of Rapunzel: when the prince finds Rapunzel in the deserts he find that she's had twins. I never kew that's what they were up when he visited her in the tower...!

Enid - Dante and Milton?

We have a couple of collections of Hans Christian Anderson e.g. Andersen - it's useful that DW used to review childrens books! The original versions of the stories are a refreshing change.
