I found this book interesting and funny.
It had lots of description which made the story exciting. I was always thinking what will happen next? It is a very good book. ! I loved it!

As a young reader, I like funny books. And some people like adventures. Some like scary books.

This book has all of them in. I recommend this book for children 8-12. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

My 11 year old son would love to get a copy of this . He even wants to write his own review, in order to expand on his writing skills! He dreams of one day writing his own books ! Watch this space x

Just got this in the post, son is looking forward to reading it this weekend after his first week back at school :)

What a nice surprise to get this book, I enjoyed the first, looking forward to reading the second. It will follow its predecessor onto the Year 6 library shelf.

K9 is a good follow up to Knightly and Son, the plot twist and turns and takes some unravelling to work out who is on the "good" side and who is a properly bad dog. Uncle Bill makes a a comedy appearance once again and the relationship between Bogna and Alan Knightly is still enigmatic. Tilly and Darkus still have a complicated step sibling thing going on and Miss Khan once again deliverers the techno goods like a school marm Q.

The only weak spot in it was a tenuous sub plot for Tillys Dad Clive and a random PE teacher, which didn't add anything much and cluttered the place up with extra bodies in the woods at full moon.

Thank you for sending us this book. DS hasn't got round to reading it yet, so I read it instead. I haven't read the first one, but the characters were recapped so I could catch up. I found it a bit slow to get started, and nearly didn't keep going, but it picked up around chapter 6. I enjoyed the plot, and there were lots of interesting twists and turns. However, I really didn't care about any of the characters; there wasn't much depth to them or to the relationships between them. And the concept of the first book - the son who takes over his dad's detective work - felt a bit stretched and overdone in the second book. I'm not sure that I'll be nagging DS to read this one.

I dropped K9 off at school this morning, It's heading for the Year 6 book shelf.

Knightley & Son: K-9 was an enjoyable read, with lots of twists and turns, maybe one or two too many as we did get a little confused at times as to who the goodies and who the baddies are.
On the whole this was a fast paced detective adventure book, with some complicated relationships, which is good for teenagers to learn more about.
