OK it's no classic but I really enjoyed it. Fast paced thriller and was a life saver on a tedious train journey

I like his stuff - think that is the one I got dh to read on the plane when he went to the UK.

Good books. Have you read any of his others?

Definately travel/ holiday books

foxinsocks · 19/09/2006 10:53

is that the most recent one? I enjoyed it aswell - I always enjoy his stuff. I look forward to reading them when they come out - they are very easy to read but always quite gripping.

No its an older one.
I think Promise Me is his latest.
Tell no one, was one of his best IMO

harlan coben is fantastic-like james patterson used to be before he got so prolific. he has a series of books about a sports agent called myron bolitar-they need to be read more or less in sequence. the others are stand alone novels although the most recent one, promise me is a myron bolitar but contains characters from other of his novels and is excellent. (dont be put off by the sports agent thing. they are very good)

He is good isn't he? I find I have trouble knowing whether I've read the book before though. I don't know whether that's because the blurb on the back isn't informative enough or just because my short term memory is shot.

JoolsToo · 19/09/2006 22:34

I have a couple on the shelf as yet unread - this one has made me greedy for more!

I think the first one I read was Tell No One but this was MUCH better!

JoolsToo, I love that feeling of having books waiting to be read. I always feel a slight sense of panic when I finish a book without another lined up to start. Hope you enjoy them.

JessaJam · 20/09/2006 14:07

The Myron Bolitar ones are really easy reads, sort of "rollicking good yarns" not exactly thought provoking or edge of your seat stuff...but still good. His other books (the non-myron ones!) tend to be a bit darker

have just read 'The Innocent' - good read.
