I liked most of the book, but the end was a total cop out, it really pissed me off. There's essentially no consequences, because he was really sorry. Meh.

What Alice forgot is much better IMO.

It was only ok, really, Holly and yes , you are right; Holly is a lovely name and I would have called a daughter that if I had had one.

Very clever ending. Really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it. Agree it wasn't meant to be a murder mystery. It was about the conundrum of wwyd. Also at calling it chick lit. If it was by a man it would be a "gripping exploration of the dark side of everyone" not chick lit .
