I'm so surprised there aren't more Lizzie Bennetts on MN

RPJ is the one I married.

Catherine Morland - I've clearly still got a lot of growing up to do...

TheNunsOfGavarone · 16/02/2014 14:52

Elinor Dashwood, which I'm quite happy about. Actually I'm not particularly grown up and have a very overactive imagination so am quite surprised I didn't get Catherine Morland!

I couldn't find a list of the options - was Marianne actually included?

Is there a Which Bennet Girl Are You? quiz?

FuckingWankwings · 16/02/2014 14:57

Fanny Price. I haven't read anymuch Austen so I don't know what she's like or why others on this thread are annoyed at getting her. 'fiercely loyal and kind to everyone' sounds OK to me, as does 'you love reading and learning.'

TeacupDrama · 21/02/2014 13:28

Anne Elliott

MrsBartlet · 21/02/2014 13:54

Oh dear goodness, I got Fanny Price! Off to get dd to do it now - she is definitely more of a Lizzie Bennet.

MrsBartlet · 21/02/2014 13:56

Haha - dd just got Fanny Price, too!

SanityClause · 21/02/2014 14:12

Anne Elliot.

Persuasion is my favourite (Austen) book.

I'm pleased I didn't get boring old Fanny!

Cooroo · 23/02/2014 09:53

Elinor, which I think is fair. I'm so old I didn't understand some of the questions. Like all those singers -I honestly don't know which is which!

miserywaterfall · 23/02/2014 13:51

Boooring, I got Elinor Dashwood!

Sprink · 23/02/2014 19:25

I got Elinir Dasheood as well but am fine with that.

It does make me wonder whether I'd (we'd) have been a different Austen heroine at a different age. My twenties self wouldn't have answered the same at all.

havewinewilltravel · 23/02/2014 19:39

I got Catherine Morland ... was convinced I would be Emma Woodhouse ... however, on reflection, perhaps Catherine is more "me" ... Grin

I would be happy to be Catherine Morland.
I'm sad there doesn't appear to be a Marianne. Although, personally I wouldn't be able to stand her in real life Confused

Anne Elliot too.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 23/02/2014 20:04

Fanny Price here as well
