I really enjoyed it, loved Don and felt the Aspergers aspect of Dons character was well written. It made me laugh and made me think. What did you think?

I was unsettled by the sense that it was written with one eye on the film rights and wasn't surprised to read, at the end of the book, that it had been written as a film script first and then turned into a novel.

I also thought Don was a bit of a caricature of someone with AS.

That said, I did find that I started to care about what happened to the characters as the book progressed, even though it was predictable, and I had that 'can't put it down' feeling.

I just finished it, enjoyed it, but found the ending very rushed (had to reread the last chapter because I missed who her father was - or maybe I'm a bit thick)
