Books that actually made you LOL? Maybe not strictly Adult Fiction I know...

I'm currently exhausting David Sedaris' opus and I'm going to be so sad when I've finished them!

After having a baby and doing a uni course, I've found it really difficult to find the time/inclination to get stuck into a book and have ditched many. Sedaris' books have got me back into reading as they're just funny and charming, interesting and intelligent. And of course made me LOL many a time.

Any suggestions of what to read next please?

The Wee Free Men by Terry Prachett (and related books). They are brilliant.

Catch 22 by Joseph Heller
Bill Bryson is funny.

P.G. Wodehouse's books make me laugh out loud.

The 100 year old man .... Book made me really laugh

Paul Howard's Ross O'Carroll Kelly books.

V specific - Irish rugger bugger culture - but some lol moments (the scene where he goes home with a woman and realises she only fake tanned the arm that showed in her one armed top is a classic)

Another one here for Diary of a Nobody. It's hilarious...Mr Pooter is a Victorian David Brent! Can't believe it was written so long ago.
