I'd like to know as well - DD has been ill and decided to run to the toilet and vomit just before it ended!!!!! Sad

hermykne · 19/03/2006 18:02

rt i dont know and tried to watch it too but got distracted. i love them!

RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 18:09

I am soooooooooooooooooo angry with myself for not recording it as well as watching

The cousin came in with a needle to kill the old man in his bed

And the guide/schoolgirl and the dancer were in fact swapped over

So the one in burnt out car was the dancer

and the girl on the rug was the schoolgirl, with biten fingernails

But there was something about somerset house and the other people who were involved in the murders

Don't watch them but have read every book. Trouble is the titles change for TV. Can you remember a main character name, then I can try to pin it down.

It's seven in the morning. The Bantrys wake to find the body of a young woman in their library. But who is she? How did she get there? And what is the connection with another dead girl, whose remains are discovered in an abandoned quarry? The Bantrys invite Miss Marple to solve the mystery.

Ah - Marple, not my favourite. All Marple books in storage, only Poirot on my shelf.

Sorry RT. Will root around and see if I can find it for you.

cupcakes · 19/03/2006 18:37

will see if I have the book...

cupcakes · 19/03/2006 18:40

mark gaskell and Josie.
do you want to know how?

Dahlia · 19/03/2006 18:40

Oh! I have read this, I'm sure. Is it the one where the girl was in fact gay? She was having an affair with another woman, but I can't remember who, it was a long time ago that I read it. Sorry, I'm not being very helpful. Tell me a bit more about what had already happened and it might come back to me.

RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 18:41

cupcakes · 19/03/2006 18:44

SG's link is pretty thorough but I can scan the book if there's anything else you need?

Dahlia · 19/03/2006 18:46

Oh. Don't know which one I am thinking of then! Will bug me all night now...

RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 18:52

There was something about their past and it being from somerset house and a birth certificate or marriage certificate miss marple gave to the police man

OP posts:
RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 18:53

miss marple went to london on the train and came back with the certificate

What was it and whoose was it?

OP posts:
RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 18:53

sorry dahlia don't know

OP posts:
Dahlia · 19/03/2006 18:54

don't worry! I've read so many "aggies" they all kind of merge into one.....

RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 19:13

Can you see any mention of her going to london on the train for the certificate????????

OP posts:
cupcakes · 19/03/2006 19:18

a marriage certificate - Mark and Josie had been married a year previously and had kept it quiet till Mrs Jefferson died.
I think Miss Marple was trying to find out who were (secretly) married as the couple would be in cahoots together. (I can't remember this very well, am just gleaning from the last chapter).

RTKangaMummy · 19/03/2006 19:29

Do you mean they had been married to each other

and so were waiting until old man died to make it public?

OP posts:
cupcakes · 19/03/2006 19:29

yes

cupcakes · 19/03/2006 19:30

they didn't announce it earlier so as not to affect his will.
I think. Grin
