Brilliant thanks, I nearly bought perfect people last week but thought I'd wait till I finished the book I'm reading now.

Am really glad I waited now Smile

leander · 25/06/2012 20:34

Just purchased both, thanks.

frenchfancy · 25/06/2012 20:34

TheLightPassenger · 27/06/2012 16:46

A few of the Ken Follett thrillers are 20p too, also the Karl Pilkington/Idiot Abroad book, and a book by ?rapper 50 cent.

GrapesAnatomy · 27/06/2012 16:50

Thanks emulou Thanks I'm trying to stock up for my holiday at the moment so that is great Smile

BabeRuthless · 27/06/2012 19:13

"Fluke" by James Herbert is also 20p and a few of his books are under 89p

elkiedee · 02/07/2012 12:32

If you enjoy chicklit Unsuitable Men by Pippa Wright is good fun and another 20p bargain for most of the last few days, still at that price today.

BabeRuthless · 04/07/2012 22:04

Strangers Child by Alan Hollinghurst has gone down to 20p.

Does anyone know what's behind this new 20p thing?

mummylin2495 · 04/07/2012 22:24

TheLightPassenger · 04/07/2012 22:26

The Stranger's Child by Alan Hollinghurst is now 20p.

VivaLeBeaver · 04/07/2012 22:31

fivefoottwowitheyesofblue · 04/07/2012 22:41

Many thanks OP!

I luff my kindle. Especially loaded with 20p books!

NoraHelmer · 05/07/2012 17:24

I have just subscribed to this website which alerts you to the 20p deals on Amazon kindle daily cheapreads.co.uk.

elkiedee · 05/07/2012 17:56

I think the 20p books stand out more than the free books because there are less of them, and the 20p offers are mostly from a couple of quite mainstream publishers.

Samroo · 12/07/2012 21:39

Apparently the books are to price match the 20p deals on with Googleplay. I do love competition when it favours my pocket!

edam · 12/07/2012 21:47

Thanks - I hadn't heard about the 20p deals, just picked up the Hollinghurst, Peterson and James.

valiumredhead · 14/07/2012 19:25

I'm reading Perfect People too - very easy to read, enjoying it so far.

ClaireBunting · 15/07/2012 07:57

I read Perfect People - enjoyed it.

igggi · 18/07/2012 23:24

I've just finished My daughter My mother. Very interesting - account of two young women with relationship problems and gradually you learn about about their mothers, an evacuee and a child at the time of partition in India respectively.
Very surprised to get a decent read for 20p!

AnonymousBird · 19/07/2012 08:57

Have bought Perfect People, though not sure how well the subject matter is going to sit with me. But reviews are good, so for 20p, nothing to lose!

If anyone spots any more, please do tell!!!

valiumredhead · 19/07/2012 08:58

Re Perfect People, it is refreshing to read a Kindle book without shocking spelling mistakes/poor editing.

igggi · 19/07/2012 10:25

As mother of a 4 year old, I decided to give Perfect People a miss - too much misery potential!

valiumredhead · 19/07/2012 10:41

It's a thriller -no misery. I love books where I can't work out what will happen next and I have no clue how it will end up.

Unless your 4 year old is a psychotic genius iggi there is no cause for alarm Wink

igggi · 19/07/2012 11:37

Wellll, now you mention it...
I thought was about couple whose child had died, didn't fancy that. Will have a look.

AnonymousBird · 19/07/2012 12:03

igggi - you and me both! I have bought it at 20p, but was rather hesitant for the same reasons....
