I've only just got around to reading this and finished it about half an hour ago.

It passed a long train journey well enough.

I quite liked it. They are about my age and the 'one day' is the day after my birthday, so it had a bit more resonance for me.

Can't argue with 'she was a drip, he was a twat', though.
