Cecelia Ahern is the bestselling author of eight novels, including PS; I Love You, The Gift and The Book of Tomorrow. Her first novel PS. I Love You was subsequently turned in to a hit box-office film starring Hilary Swank which she wrote at the age of 21. She has since written hit screenplays and US sitcoms including the E4 hit Samantha Who?) along with eight further Sunday-Times best-selling novels. In 2010 Cecelia was named Best Writer at the Glamour Magazine Women of The Year Awards. She lives in County Dublin with her husband and their daughter.

Cecelia's latest novel, A Time of My Life tells the story of Lucy Silchester who receives an appointment card which she brushes under the carpet and avoids by busying herself with the chores of everyday life. But Lucy is about to find out that this is one appointment that she can't miss. And she can't escape it either. Her life is about to catch up with her in the most surreal of ways. Described as 'touching, warm funny and poignant', Cecelia Ahern's new novel explores what happens when you stop paying attention to your life. I think they're absolutely shite but I still take my hat off to her for sitting down at a computer and churning out 6 or is it 8 books. Wow. I'd like to know does she have the ability to write books on auto-pilot, her fingers typing rapidly in a kind of predictive text way. I'm forever talking about writing a book, but I never do it. It's all talk. SO I have a sneaking admiration for somebody who can't actually write but has had so many novels published.

I can't get over the rudeness on this thread. How awful. Shame on you all.
