Rand's meeting with Egwene was was ... dunno. It was good but probably not what I was expecting!

Perrin's in trouble, wonder if this is when Berelain meets her 'man in white'.

Hehe, Rand has gone all 'Zen'. Reminds me of that phase Johnny Wilkinson went thorugh recently.
Perrin is such a drip. Blood and Ashes I find him irritating.
Egwene, not too bad and Mat, oh Mat he's F.A.B.

And Lan finds out about Nynaeve's plans for him

I prefer the start of this one much much more than the prvious book, getting stuck in with Lan (ahem) right away really sets the tone well, and brings a tear to the eye as well (or I am just being soppy perhaps).

Have spotted an error I think :( Where is Tam alThor supposed to be?

Tam is with Perrin.

I've just got to the end of ch.20. Nynaeve has been raised ot the shawl made Myrelle pass Lan's bond to her

I not sure now as he was with Rand not long ago. I think he must have moved over to Rands's lot.

It's getting really really interesting now. Galad has just found out the Morgase isn't dead and is in fact in Perrin's camp whom he was about to attack.

I got confused because Tam turns up with Mat later on...

Am on chapter 20something. Nynaeve has just had her test for the shawl. Fraught...

I havent noticed Tam with Mat yet.

I think the problem is that the Perrin time line is a long way behind Rand's. So Perrin is in the wolfdream and witnesses Rand on Dragonmount - but its half way through the book. Perrin gave Tam leave to go off with Aes Sedai (presumably Casuane's plan) but its after we read about his meeting with Rand in the previous book.

I've finished so I've got to wait a whole year

I'm rereading. Just so it's firmly in my mind and I get to notice ll the bits I missed in the excitement and newness of the First Read.

Finished too. Can't wait for next year! When we going to start analysing it?

Oooo, so excited to have found some people on mn who're into these books! Have namechanged in excitment. What's going to happen next, then??! What is it Moiraine will do? And poor Mat :( - maybe Tuon won't want him now, Handsoff :o

hopefully Min (I'm thinking about namechanging back as this name confuses me) I'll console him . I winced when I read that bit

The Jaim bit was so predictable wasnt it. And why cant Moraine heal them if she has the angreal to make her as strong in the power as she was before they drained her? Over all tho I really liked that bit, perhaps the sence of inevitability was deliberate to fit in with Mat's feeling on the light of the world etc?

I still dont know who killed Asmodean and who Demondred is tho!
