Is out now for those who enjoyed the other Jackson Brodie titles.
I haven't read it yet but read the review yesterday and have ordered it from the library. Others have asked for it already! Can't wait!

I don't think so, it was frustrating though! but what I liked about this one and the last one, was that they are more of a hybrid of "proper" novels with an element of policing/mystery/plot twists. You can't really call this one a detective story can you? It was mostly about Tracy and Barry and their families, and a good bit of Jackson and the dog. An element of mystery yes but I didn't feel it was the driving force and indeed the bigger "mysteries" weren't solved.

Anyone else feel she had been reading "Wise Children" by Angela Carter? The dotty old actress etc, plus she actually quoted that line - I was convinced there were going to be twins but not quite.
