A variation of Eton Mess, with low fat yoghurt instead of cream?

Lemon or lime cheesecake, made with low-fat digestive bicuits and sugar free lemon/lime jelly to make it set and low-fat soft cheese.

Or a platter of exotic fruits with dipping sauces eg a raspberry coulis and a chocolate sauce- yes its chocolate but you wouldnt be having loads of it if it was just for dipping.

This time of year when fruit is so fab you can do a delicious fruit salad - or just a huge bowl of raspberries/strawberries. I used to do a 'red' fruit salad which was always popular.

what about a fruit trifle?

You could use sugar free jelly and custard and use fruit set in the jelly instead of sponge fingers.

or swiss roll (almost fat free) with low fat yoghurt and fruit inside? You can get a fat free greek style yoghurt called total 0% that would work well.

or you could do layers of the total yogurt with toatsed oats and fruit coulis in tall glasses.

Pavlova with greek yoghurt and fruit - pavlova is low fat, though not that low calorie, and you could have a smallish bit of meringue with lots of fruit and yoghurt.

Home made frozen yoghurt.

Chargrilled pineapple and yoghurt.

Though I tend to think that a dinner party is a special occasion, and it's ok to have something indulgent because it's not going to be every day.

What about champagne/fizzy wine jelly? Made with lots of lovely fruit in it, and the fizz would give it that bit of extra sparkle for a dinner party. If you poach rhubarb with some sugar/low sugar substitute, strain off the juice, add gelatine and champagne, then allow to set, then serve with fruit and an almond biscuit on the side, that might be rather nice.

Oooh oooh - or a fruit fool - puree raspberries and mix with low fat yoghurt and maybe a bit of cream for a hint of luxury.

Or a fruit crumble - with lots of oats and nuts and crunchy seeds in the crumble topping.
