Joined local group last night and started plan this morning. Been so busy running around after 8 wk old DS2 i realised had only eaten 3.5 points by midday and I'm on 32! How do you get to 32 without using cakes and chocolate to bump it up? Or do you just use cakes and chocolate?? Which I have no problem with I wwas thinking one yummy treat once a day should do the trick...

I think it depends what the yummy treat is - apples are pretty yummy he he!

I am not with a group, but one of my friends told me about her plan, and I am sure you are only allowed a certain number of points from 'naughty' treats per day??

Good luck, I am rubbish at the moment - I keep forgetting to eat proper breakfast then snacking on wrong foods. I know exactly what I need to do..... its just doing it thats the problem!!

I havent seen that specific rule in the folder, but I guess thats what I was asking in a rambling sort of way.

I mean you can do weightwatchers on 6 mars bars a day on 32 points (thats a guess, I dont know what a mars bar is!) but its not really keeping with the plan because the idea is to eat healthly filling foods.

At the moment I feel it will be hard to hit 32 without having some junk in there! I could probably bump it up some with fruit cos the points can add up there. I guess I'm only on day 1 so I'll find out during the week how easy/hard it is to do!

Sounds like a good plan to bump up on fruit - what about milk and low fat yoghurt also - plenty of calcium to replace that lost at the breast!

eggontoast · 07/01/2010 13:27

obviously low fat milk !

What about something calorific but also with fibre/fruit - like a flapjack? Or wholemeal bread with jam? Or malt loaf?
