I need to do this, bad timing with christmas a few weeks away (I'm a sucker for a mince oie & cream) but I was in the bath a few days ago just lazing about and putting somebodywash on a sponge when I looked to the door, which was ajar, to see DH peeping in (NOT in a pervy way! just checking in on me) I was mortified, I burst into tears and sobbed for about 10 minutes.

My husband seeing me naked should not provoke such a reaction should it?

Time to slim down I think I also found a lovely pic of me when I was a size 12 and look so happy.

So what did it for you?

Well I'm pregnant so not doing anything to actively lose weight at the moment. Once I have had my baby I will join ww and embark on fitness plan via the wii.

Years ago I lost 2.5 stone going from a size 14 to a size 6 and managed to keep it off for 5 years until I fell pregnant with my first child. It was a work photograph that motivated me to lose the weight I just looked so dumpy and frumpy. I finally knew I had done it when it I overheard a work colleague on the phone say "skinny blonde girl? Oh you must mean thedollshouse". I know its shallow but I was so happy that other people viewed me as skinny. Pathetic really!

Rockcake

I feel disgusted with myself too. I need to lose 2 stone.

You know you can lose the weight, as you've done it.

Start exercising as it will give you a boost to your mood as well as boosting weight loss.

Btw, I'm sure your husband does fancy you. There are many reasons why a man can't perform sometimes.

Thanks Busybee. I can't exercise properly at the moment. Hope to start in the new year.

Good luck with your diet.

In response to OP, when a woman commented I would 'Need a much bigger size than that' while I was rifling thru a rack of coats.

Might I add she was at least an 18 shoe-horned into what looked like size 14 clothes.

I did then lose weight, 2 stone..... then fell preg with no.4. Same as with DS3, as soon as I lost weight I was preg.

Didn't put any on with DS3 so am hoping I wont this time either - don't seem to have yet (20 weeks) though am eating VERY WELL.

Grr very annoying I just wrote a whole long post and my internet froze so I lost it.

spookycharlotte121 - good luck with slimming world next week. I am sure you will manage to get some weight off before your birthday and will look great.

rockcakebottom - I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. Big hugs. I don't think you sound massively over weight. I know you said you will feel better losing weight and I understand that but have you also told DH how upset you are feeling?

thedollshouse - that's not shallow, it must be nice to know people look at you as slim.

Bobbybee - good luck with your new diet.

ladyoftheflowers - I think it is so rude when people say things like that.
