How do you treat /reward yourself?

I am starting my diet again today, and I am trying to plan in some everyday small treats so that I don't get that miserable, deprived feeling and also some slightly larger rewards for when I reach certain milestones.
I'm not thinking of food and drink here but perhaps beauty related pampering treats.
How do you reward yourselves?
TIA

hi, you have trhe right attitude - we can not equate food as a treat ort reward, thats defeating the objective. i lost 3.5 stones b4 falling pregnant, my treat was to buy a small inexpensive item of clothes or cosmetic jewllery. when i dropped a dress size i bought clothes that fit as it showed off my achievement. good luck.x

yes, food is not the best way to reward yourself!

I've lost 23 lbs so far and my treats have included:

trip to the cinema (alone and heaven! although did have popcorn )
new bra (necessary really)
new mascara
watching a big block of Gossip Girl episodes in one sitting

Have just bought myself a pair of £25 jeans from DP, which do fit but have told myself I'm not to wear them until I've lost another 5 lbs (when I will have lost 2 stone).

You could also treat yourself to home facial/peicure/manicure. Really nice DVD. Pair of fabulous gloves. Pair of earings. Hefty glossy mag like Vogue/Harpers. Gorgeous smelling body lotion.

Good luck!

Thanks ladies! Earrings sound good and manicures - you can't eat and paint your nails at the same time!

I was reading some tips on aol about dieting and I liked the idea of putting some money in piggy bank - instead of going to coffee shop for my latte and cheese cake I'm going to put the sum I'd spend aside and then treat myself to a nice hair cut and may be some clothes as well. It's surprising how much money can be saved this way as yesterday I've spent £5 so 10 trips avoided would save £50. Nice massage is a good treat as well, you can get a massage for around £20-40 and it gives you a wonderful feeling of rest.
