I'm talking around 5lbs.

Lost it all by Mid Jan- now all back on. and every bit around my tum- struggling to get into jeans.

I am not really overweight- but am tiny build, so an extra 5lb shows.

I am now a nibbler- all healthy nibbles- nuts and dried fruit, humuus etc- but it's piled it back on.

Work from home, been a bit mis. over eprsonal life- and have succumbed to snacks in between healthy meals.

Doing loads of exercise- but need to shift the flab.

Anyone want to encourage or join me?

I'm trying to get rid of about 8lb. Not a huge amount, but it's the difference between fitting into my pre-pregnancy wardrobe and wearing my kinder jeans. And a psychological thing as well, I suppose.

DS is now 1 so it's really time it goes, but I've never struggled to shift a few pounds as much as this.

ok- so what do you need to do? eat less? more exercise?
I need to stop nibbling! what about you?

Nibbling! It's horrible, isn't it? I'm a freelancer/sahm and find it harder to avoid snacking when I'm not out in the working world.

I go to gym about twice a week (mostly running) and walk lots. But I guess I could do a bit more. And I eat fairly healthily but can't do without chocolate or biscuits.

What makes you nibble? Do you have triggers? Mine's a cup of tea and reading through a book or magazine.

My triggers? well, I am having a bit of a tough time with my personal life, and I get an urge to nibble something sweet.

I work from home and tend to get an energy slump around 4pm-6pm before dinner is ready- and tend to nibble then, and also between breakfast and lunch.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having a rough time. Psychological stuff can have such an effect. I find the reverse though - when upset I lose my appetite and get really good at running because I feel driven by fury or whatever negative emotion is at play.

How was yesterday? Mine was ruined by an after supper binge of Green and Blacks and hobnobs.

And now? You managing to keep the nibbles at bay this morning? I keep lots of fruit in the house so that I can eat an apple instead of a handful of nuts or something more dangerous. But the hardest part is when I sit down to work this afternoon - it's a bit easier when I'm busy tidying or playing with DS.

Hi
I am not doing great- the biggest problem is that my DS is temporarily living at home again, ( he's an adult) and is trying to put weight on! - he;s very fit and exercises loads- consequently we have things in the house- puddings and biscuits that I would never normally buy/eat. My "1 mouthful" soon turns into a normal portion, or I scoff the left overs.

I am determined to get cracking with it this week.....I am disgusted by my muffin top and it's got to go!

I also tend to work til around 7pm, so need to perhaps eat more around lunchtime so I don't nibble before dinner.

How are you doing?
