Every cloud....!

I thought I would see if anyone has experienced the silver lining that goes with your husband leaving you. Mine left in Dec 07 and I steadily lost weight....(three sone to be precise)...every cloud and all that! So, here I am, over a year later and although the horridness of the situation is still continuing (just had first court hearing), I find that I am once again polishing off the kids leftovers and binging on mini eggs once my DDs are in bed.....! So, unless something really really bad happens, like I actually cannot afford to eat (CSA proposed £5 per week for both kids!) or I am stressed about losing the house (which looks like it may happen anyway) I need to find a way of keeping my svelt new look! Any thoughts? I have taken to drinking copious cups of decafe tea in the evenings to stop the munchies and sometimes roll lettuce leaves up with something like mango chutney inside (weird I know!). Let me know your pearls if you have any. xx

Sorry to hear about your situation.
With regards to your bingeing in the evenings, you're just going to have to exercise extreme willpower initially, unfortunately .

What I found helped me was to just give myself a rule that I am not allowed to eat anything after dinner except fruit.

Include a small dessert as part of your dinner and then munch on grapes, strawberries etc

Doing an exercise dvd helps me loads. It curbs any cravings for food plus I burn calories and tone up

If only I could do it more often.

Good luck!

Hi Wintersun. Thanks for the advice... you just stopped me.... I was just wondering what I could nibble on. I am just working on my teaching assistant assignment and of course my thoughts are turning to treats! May do a couple of exercises to a DVD then off to bed... the best way of keeping your hands out of the fridge! xx

snackerjacks are okay too - feel more treaty than fruit but still very low in calories and fat, or I like pink and white wafer things, they are so sweet i cant eat more than 2

but obviously the fruit after dinner is a better solution
