I'm trying to loose about a stone in time for my birthday in May.

Trouble is I've run out of ideas of what to eat. I lost a stone a few years ago before I had the kids and I did that by eating salad every day and sarnies in the evening - no chocolate, pasta, pots etc and also going to the gym 5 times a week.

I can't keep this up with the dc's and tp be frank I just haven't got the energy.

So, I'm really after some inspirarion from other veggies who are managing to loose weight as I've run out of ideas of what to eat. It's wierd, all the foods I would normally eat - salad, soup etc I just don't want at the moment.....so I need some help

lots of lentil dahls and soups, oh, cauldron foods are fairly low fat.. couscous.. baked potato with a low fat filling.. toast with ratatouille on instead of beans or cheese..

basically, it's got to be balanced - don't cut out a whole food group, stick to olive oil rather than butter or marg

I'm not veggie any more (though I was for 13years)

steer clear of full fat cheeses.
All the full fat dairy stuff really

don't just change what you're eating, change how much exercise you're doing too

Keep motivated - weigh yourself today and resist the temptation of weighing yourself for another week, when you see your achievments you'll be fired up to have another focussed week

give yourself little goals and reward yourself along the way to your final goal

If you drink alcohol consider giving it up whilst you're trying to lose weight

Cut out biscuits - unless you deduct something that you have accounted for

Don't eat less than 1800 calories a day - but up your exercise

hope some of this helps
