10 days ago i started the Diet Chef diet, so far gong v well. 6lb downa substanial number of lbs still to go
The food is all surprisingly good and im much less hungry than i was a week ago but continual sald for lunch is going to dribve me nuts. Im not a soup person at the best of times, so every day.....aaargh!
So what can i add to provide a bit of variety? Preferably carb heavy...have been lusting after sandwhiches!!! Soups are between 110-175 calories so needs to be similar.

Great ideas please!

There's 70 cals per 100g of potato, maybe small Jacket Pot and fat free cottage cheese.

Pasta salad made with pasta, cucumber, tomato, spring onions, beetroot, grated carrot and fat free french dressing.

You could use Nimble bread (other low cal bread is available ) and have a hummous & salad sandwich.

I like roasted vegetables with some pesto stirred in

Good ideas, specially liking cous cous or jacket potato.
Surely pasta salad would be higher in cals, no?

Weight watcher's wholewheat tortilla wraps with grilled chicken strips/tuna/prawns/roasted veg/salad. You can get them from Sainsbury's and Tesco's.

Baked sweet potato is luscious. I have it often with a low-cal tuna mix (tuna, finely chopped spring onion & mixed peppers) and substitute mayo with fat free fromage frais/creme fraiche.

An omelette? Pack in loads of veg, no cheese, use Fry Light to cook it. Yum.

Pasta is quite high calorie But it depends how much you use, as with everything. The omlette's a good idea - I love Spanish omlette! Do you like quorn? Its a naturally low cal meat alternative - you can get mince, chicken style pieces, burgers, sausages - it's a high protein food too.
