Ooops we must have been posting at the same time YG. I think the big thing that makes a difference with an indian takeaway is to have it on a green day and resist the pilau rice, go for plain boiled.

Loobz · 28/03/2005 20:57

Mine is usually well controlled by two inhalers but just recenlty it seems to be getting worse and like you Yorkie I am wakening at night again with a really irritating cough then I start to wheeze - another reason I need to loose weight.

Loobz · 28/03/2005 21:02

Oooppss - almost forgot in my miserable state - the good news was that today I managed to get into, and be comfortable in, a pair of jeans that I've ahd in the wardrobe for a while and have never managed to wear yet
Was a bit miffed when I had to shorten the damn things though - I hate being short - In my dreams I'm 5ft 10ins - In reality I'm 5ft 3ins

Evesmama · 28/03/2005 21:18

hi everyone
well donr coppertop on your first stone too

well im glad im changing my days and getting weighed fridays now as i went out last night!!, yes she who has not ventured out after tea time in 18 months barring one recent rare occasion!!!, drank4 large glasses of dry white wine anda bottle of blue wkd and when we got home all giggly and merry wolfed down 4 slices of brussells pate on toast and a large chunk of cheese(wanted to go for a kebab but was pouring down)
so have got some work do do this week
but i needed it, plus its my birthday this week so felt i deserved it

mammya · 28/03/2005 21:21

Hello everyone, you can boot me too as i've been very bad, had lots of chocolate, wine, roast dinner, and a takeway, all this in 3 days... Oh well, back onthe wagon tomorrow, but as my weigh-in is on Wednesday, I'm not expecting a miracle...

On the plus side, a few people have noticed that I have lost weight, which is very motivating!

Evesmama · 28/03/2005 21:24

oh yeah..and not one person even commented on my weight loss............
however......................................

i think i looked bloody gorgeousand felt rather slim

Loobz · 28/03/2005 21:26

Evesmama - bet you looked absolutely gorgeous And at the end of the day it's not what other's think it's how you felt - slim

BethAndHerBrood · 28/03/2005 21:28

Evesmama, if you felt bloody gorgeous it doesn't matter if no one else noticed. You're not losing weight for other people, you're losing it for you

Sermon Over!!

BTW, I feel slim and sexy these days, but in reality am a long way from it, but it's how you feel that's important!!!!!

Evesmama · 28/03/2005 21:34

ta girls

id got a lovely brown, babydoll style top from and pair of lighter brown trews from wallis, rather long(kept standing on them, but with my boots, made my legs look longer and after 4th glass of wine thought i was 9 stone..plus my boobs looked rather nice in the low cut top too!! havent seen themthat pushed up in years

BethAndHerBrood · 28/03/2005 21:47

Sounds lovely!!! I love brown, it really suits my colouring, whereas black makes me look like a corpse!!!!

How come you could find nice brown clothes though?? Everytime I look all the "nice" clothes are black!!!

mammya · 28/03/2005 22:06

I love brown too, I'm sure you looked lovely!

It's nice when grannie buys stuff for the kids, isn't it??!! My MIL was here for the day on thursday, so we went to asda and spent over £100 on clothes for my DS and DD. She never spends a penny on them apart from birthdays and christmas, and even then it's because she has to, not because she wants to, IYKWIM.
