as I am good-mouthing the IPD left right and centre. And twirling my twiggness around and telling all who ask how I did it

Perhaps something from the M&S English Cheese selection would be appropriate.

you don't have to out yourselves on MN, if as sweaty, pungent parcel arrives in several weeks at my Australian door, I'll know

Not trying to get too involved in the argument here - but I did get a kidney stone after 6 weeks on the IK diet - and the surgeon said the v high levels of protein and supplements were attributable - so please, no matter how many inches drop off, be careful - this thing has affected me long term now.

that really is too bad for you wtf, my father had kidney stones and they ain'tpretty

I only did phase 1 for 2 weeks
I eat plenty of vegetables and fruit and some days have no meat at all. I eat oats and blueberries and yogurt 5 days a week. I did't take the silly supplements

I too get slightly concerned when reading the pig2twig forum that people are phase 1 ing for months on end, who knows what their colons are like?

I find I just eat less and get more satisfaction from the food I do eat and I don't snack on refined carbs

I'll find you SNC, oh yes I will, one way or another

thank goodness you wre more sensible than I was! I took to heart the bit which said 'don't even start this without the supplements'

Hello suzy et al
What's the difference between this IPD and the South Beach diet does anyone know?
Also, I googled IPD and came up with weightloss4Idiots dot com or something and my heart sank because I did that last year, lost a few pounds and now have put it all on again and more and I am sure it has totally f*cked my metabolism as I can't seem to shift it at all (all around my tummy )
With this IPD - how practical is it with the family? The 4Idiots thing was awful when cooking for DH and kids too.
